Video Thumbnail Grabber
Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link to see and download its thumbnail in every available size.
Works with: youtube.com/watch, youtu.be, Shorts, embed and live links, plus Vimeo video links. Not every video has every size — the largest (maxres, 1280×720) only exists for HD uploads, so sizes that aren’t available are hidden. Thumbnails belong to the video’s creator; ask before reusing them.

What size are YouTube thumbnails?
The largest is maxresdefault at 1280×720, when the uploader provided an HD thumbnail. Every video also has smaller versions, down to 120×90.
Why is the HD thumbnail missing?
Some videos, especially older ones, have no maxres version. Use the next size down.
Can I use a YouTube thumbnail on my website?
Thumbnails belong to the video’s creator. Using one to link to or discuss the video is common, but ask permission for other uses.
