Pick a colour from anywhere on your screen — or from an image — and get it in HEX, RGB, HSL and more.
Recent picks
Picking outside the page: “Pick from screen” uses the browser’s EyeDropper, available in Chrome, Edge and Opera on desktop — click it, then click any pixel on your screen, even in another app. On other browsers, upload a screenshot and click the colour you want. Recent picks are saved in this browser only.
About the Screen Color Picker
The Screen Colour Picker grabs a colour from anywhere on your screen with the browser’s eyedropper, or from an image you upload, and shows it as HEX, RGB, HSL and more. Recent picks are kept so you can compare them. It is handy for matching brand colours, designing websites and finding a colour you’ve seen on screen.

Frequently asked questions
Which browsers support picking colours from the screen?
Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers support the EyeDropper feature. In other browsers, upload a screenshot and pick from the image instead.
What is the difference between HEX and RGB?
Both describe the same colour. HEX writes the red, green and blue values in hexadecimal (#3E8FD4), while RGB writes them as numbers from 0 to 255.
Is my screen recorded?
No. The eyedropper only reads the single colour you click.
