QR Code Generator
Turns text, a Wi-Fi login, a contact card, or several other common formats into a downloadable QR code — generated entirely on your device.
Why it's useful: Wi-Fi, contact and calendar QR codes use standard formats (WIFI:, vCard, iCalendar) that phone cameras and QR apps already know how to read — nothing proprietary, and nothing leaves your browser.
About the QR Code Generator
The QR Code Generator creates QR codes for text and URLs, Wi-Fi logins, contact cards, emails, text messages, phone calls, map locations and calendar events. Codes are generated in your browser, never expire and have no tracking — download and print them on menus, flyers, business cards and packaging.
How to use the QR Code Generator
- Choose what the QR code should do.
- Fill in the details, such as the URL or Wi-Fi network name and password.
- Check the code preview.
- Download it and test it with your phone’s camera before printing.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes that contain your information directly, so they keep working forever and don’t depend on any service.
How do Wi-Fi QR codes work?
The code stores the network name, password and security type. Scanning it with a phone camera offers to join the network without typing the password.
What size should a printed QR code be?
At least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 inches) for scanning up close. For posters scanned from further away, make it about a tenth of the scanning distance.
