What is the character limit on X?
Standard X posts allow 280 characters. Links count as 23 characters however long they are, and paid subscribers can post longer.
How long can an Instagram caption be?
Up to 2,200 characters, but only the first 125 or so show before “…more”, so lead with the most important words.
Do emoji count as more than one character?
On some platforms, yes. X counts most emoji as two characters, which the counter takes into account.
